Deb's room

East Side, Madison, next to Sycamore Park. Yard is fenced front and back, with fenced vegetable garden and a 10x13 greenhouse. The room that we are renting has windows facing East and South. The south bedroom window looks out into a 8x4 lean-to greenhouse. Our front door is a couple hundred yards from the back gate of Sycamore Park’s 20 acre off-leash dog park. At this time there are 4 dogs living here. Two are 14, one is 7, and one is 3. We will consider a person with a well-behaved dog. We don’t know if a cat would be happy here. We’ve had cats in the past, but the two younger dogs have not lived with them.

We are a social house where roommates interact and share weekly meals. Boundaries are respected, but this is not a rooming house. We hope to find a roommate that will enjoy interacting with the rest of the household. Currently there are 4 people living here. My husband, Mike, is 74. He likes to watch sports, works out at Planet Fitness with our grandsons, and plays racquetball 3x’s a week He is “retired” but works part-time as a stagehand extra. Patrick is 43 and works for Aaramark. Jonah is 44 and works for Cherokee Gardens Condominiums. I am 70. I am also “retired” but have been working at St Mary’s Hosp as a Patient Safety Attendant.
