Mission Gorge Road

Hi, I’m looking to add a roommate in the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo I currently rent in Allied Gardens, on Mission Gorge Rd. You’d have your own bedroom (13.5’ x 11’, with part of that taken up by the closet) and bathroom, though they’re not a single suite. There’s also a second parking spot that would be yours. The unit has a washer and dryer, gas oven/stove, dishwasher, and central air/heat. There’s not a lot of room for common space furniture, as I already have a sofa, TV, etc, plus I’m storing some things on the patio.

The total rent is $2,575; since you’d have the smaller room and such, I’m looking for a roommate to pay $1,100 (with an $1,100 deposit, since I’ve paid the full deposit of $2,575 already) plus a share of SDGE and internet. If we hit it off, you’ll need to apply through the landlord to be added to the lease. The room has been cleaned out, so move-in date is open.

I’m a 48-year-old gay man who’s mostly a homebody, but I do occasionally go out to do things. I very rarely have people over (though a game night or some such would be cool). I keep kind of odd hours, since my current job is driving for Lyft, but try to be respectful of others’ needs. I’m not great with housekeeping, but in roommate situations I try to keep the common areas at least straightened up.

I’m looking for someone who’s laid back, low drama, and not likely to bring the party home much. Orientation isn’t a big concern, though you’ll definitely need to at least be an LGBT+ ally for us to mesh.
