About the room
It’s a nice room in a three-bedroom apartment. The room fits a queen sized bed, dresser, and nightstand, still with room to move around. There’s space for shelves just outside the room and bathroom. Room has direct fire escape access and its own bathroom.
The building is well maintained by the landlord, whom we pay rent to month-to-month (no lease). Building is kept clean and secure; no issues with pests, but the building does still offer monthly extermination. We have a good sized kitchen/den that gets great natural light during the day. Dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, and all basics in the kitchen. We may be also adding some extra storage/working space for the kitchen in the coming weeks.
You would be sharing a wall with me, and the other roommate is on the opposite side of the apartment by the kitchen. Your bathroom and bedroom doors are next to each other. We are on a dead end, so it can be noisy sometimes, but the other tenants in the building are pretty quiet. Your room’s windows are not above a street, so it’s a little quieter.
Bars and restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute walk. Bodegas and take out galore. Less than 10 minute walk to the L, G, and J. Several bus routes (B46, B48, and B43 are less than 5 minutes).
About the roomies
Both remaining roommates are men. I’m 29, I work in mental health supportive housing (9-5), I have a cat, I like to cook and bake, and I’m a big D&D nerd. The other roommate is 36, works partially from home teaching music virtually and in food service (mixed hours), and is a big theatre nerd.
Roommate must be LGBTQ friendly!
