Hi!

I am a 35 yo woman with two sweet, well-behaved big dogs. I currently live alone in San Diego but my landlord is coming back at the end of June (2024), so I am looking to move into a 2-3 Bedroom home with a roommate to keep rent affordable.

Cost/location: I have two friends who are vacating their homes around June/July 2024, so I really just need to find a roommate to make it work. Both places have a backyard, dishwasher, in-unit laundry, and options for parking. Especially in COVID times, having a backyard space has been essential for wellness as well as allowing my dogs a little more space to roam. (I would keep the backyard clean, and for human use, not just dogs.) For a shared place, rent for you would be $2000 or potentially less depending on the set up, not including utilities. I plan to bring all my furniture (including a pull out sofa bed) and can furnish the apartment with the exception of your bedroom.

About me: I am clean, respectful, friendly, and sometimes hold small social gatherings/dinner parties but always with friends who are also clean and respectful. I have a partner who lives on the east coast and comes to visit for ~5-6 days at a time every 4-6 weeks. He is very respectful and a good communicator. I am looking for a roommate who is also respectful and communicative, and who likes dogs but doesn’t own one :-)

About the dogs: They are two very sweet Rhodesian Ridgebacks who love their people but also are not all in your face all the time. I will rarely be working night shift shifts, but it would be so nice if they weren’t left alone for such long periods of time. I have dog walkers, but they still love the company. They are also very chill indoors and just love to sleep on the couch. They love to sit next to you, but will also listen to you if you are not into it and want to be left alone. One of my dogs get overly excited around other dogs and isn’t really used to cats, so it probably wouldn’t be a good match if you also have a pet.
