The Place:

My roommate (Emily and her dog) and I share a large apartment in Brooklyn in a 2-family building. The room you’d be taking up is quite spacious, clean, and well-suited for someone who needs a comfortable place to live or work from home. It is located only 7 minutes walk from the Utica Av station.

There is kitchen, a laundry machine in the basement, street parking, and just about anything you’ll need to live, work and do New York. And of course the room is furnished. I am not good at writing descriptions so if I missed anything, ask and I will do my best to make sure you have all the information you need.

Who I’m Looking For:

I am looking for someone to stay from the end of March for at least the next 4 to 6 months. I want someone clean, organized and independent. Please note that I am not a hotel or an Airbnb so you’ll be your own person to do whatever you do. I can’t clean or cook or do laundry for you. I’m only providing a place to live and call home. I am old-school and prefer to FaceTime or for a coffee before we proceed with anything. My number is included so please feel free to text me.

I (mid 20s) work as a software engineer but I’m planning to say “Fuck it” and go travel the world for the next several months. This is why I need someone to take over while I’m gone.

My roommate Emily (early 30s) is a teacher and so full of life. She’s extremely friendly, loves people and will make you feel like family. Please be respectful to her and our home and you’ll automatically have us as friends.

Emily’s dog, Knox, is only 2 years old and loves to play with his toys, mostly his green ball or that doll thing he drags around. He will be excited to see you regardless of the time of the day.
