Join me in this enormous (1100 sqft) prewar apartment in Bushwick. I’ve been here for two years and my roommate just moved out.

Perks of this apartment:

• Again, enormous, there are fully two living rooms and a separate eat-in kitchen.
• Lots of great natural light (hopefully you’re better at taking care of plants than I am)
• Dishwasher, big refrigerator, lots of cabinet space in kitchen
• Nice bathroom with storage, countertop space, and a window in the shower
• Live in super (he’s great)
• No neighbors except upstairs, and we have a great relationship with them
• Common areas mostly furnished (less than in photos cuz roommate moved out)
• Plenty of room for your common area furniture if you have any - otherwise plenty of space to make the apartment look however we want!
• I ideally wanna set up a lot of common space for making: art or other projects. So if you’re looking to build a live-in studio, this is the spot for you!
• Bedroom photos are of the smaller bedroom, where my roommate was living, to give you a sense of what can fit.

Perks of the neighborhood:

• 6 min walk to the Jefferson or Dekalb L stations
• Near a ton of great bars, restaurants, clubs including House of Yes
• 10 min walk to Maria Hernandez, also 10 mins to Grover Cleveland park (hidden gem imo)
• Laundromat around the corner that does same-day wash and fold for cheap
• On an adorable, quiet, tree-lined street with fantastic parking

Rent is $1550 plus utilities until June 1, at which point if you’d like to stay it will be going up to $1625.

About me:

• I’m a 26 year old nonbinary filmmaker, poet, dancer. Vegetarian and Buddhist. I work in an office 2 days a week and at home the rest of the time. I’m very much a home body but I also love concerts, open mics, hanging with friends, going to film screenings, and doing community action. I enjoy a clean but lived-in home. Organized chaos at times, but never dirty.
• Super communicative, very dedicated to accountability. Hopefully you are both of these things too. Love having friends over, but need a heads up from you if you’re hosting folks, and will provide you with the same courtesy.
• We’ll get along great if you: are an artist (even as a hobby), are a leftist, want to live with a homie (not just someone you’re compatible with as a roommate), enjoy conversation, collaboration, and having friends over to enjoy our wonderful space.
• I’m not a party animal, but I do like to throw them (friends only) a few times a year. And this space is perfect for them.
• Other vegetarians / vegans preferred (not required)
