Nicolas's room

We are in East Harlem, close to the UES, and our apartment is a 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, and is located on the 7th floor. Yes, there is an elevator. The room for rent is 12.5 feet in length and 7.8 feet in width. The room has a large closet and a great skyline view facing South. The room also has its own A/C and manually controlled heater. While the room is unfurnished, we will be offering a work desk and tv to use during your stay as an option if interested. The apartment itself has a coat closet, a dishwasher, and a private balcony. We have a full kitchen that is available for use, and many other amenities, such as streaming platforms and other day-to-day things. All utilities, such as internet, gas, electricity, and water are all included in the monthly rent. The apartment also has renter’s insurance, which will also be included in the rent. The property is a three building complex with a manned security booth in the front 24/7. The place is safe and private. There is a laundry room located in the lobby of our building. We are a 7 minute walk from the Q train and 10 minute walk to the 6 train. Central Park is only a 15 minute walk away. There is great selection of restaurants and shops in the area with a broad selection of grocery stores and delis as well.

There are two roommates currently, and will be three in total along with the new tenant. We are both males in our mid 30s. We both work in art and education. We are pretty chill and down to earth. We both work a lot, so we are in and out of the common areas. Cooking happens a lot in our home too, it’s a serious hobby for us; however, we encourage the new tenant to use the kitchen and all of its gadgets and tools as well. We don’t party too often, typically keeping things quiet and low key throughout the week. We pride ourselves on keeping the apartment clean and tidy, especially in the kitchen. We have two cats roaming the apartment as well. They are both on the older side. One is a male and the other female. One keeps to himself and is a mystery and the other is curious and social.
