Doyle Avenue

Small upstairs bedroom available in a large house. It’s labeled as the second floor bedroom on the floor plan and has a window to the backyard, a small closet, and a wooden floor. My room is the same size and I have been able to fit a loft bed, dresser and clothing rack with no issue. The back window have a nice view of the yard and surrounding neighborhoods.

The house has three floors, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a backyard with a swing and fire pit. We have a dishwasher along with free laundry (washer and dryer). The kitchen is large with lots of storage space, and we use window AC units and baseboard heating.

This house is a 5 minute walk to the R Line, a 20 minute walk to providence station, and has several restaurants and cafes nearby. One parking space in the back and street parking. It’s near a grocery store and is within walking distance of RISD and Brown. There are also several nearby parks.

My name is Elijah. I’m a 23 year old trans masc, queer, mixed Filipino. I’m from KY and have the second upstairs bedroom. I work at a nonprofit helping immigrants and refugees find jobs, trainings, and education opportunities. I go to boston once or twice a week for work, and work remotely the rest of the week. I like poetry, campy horror movies, going on walks, writing, and spending time with friends. I’ve got two cats named Bear and Lyka.

Alexis is a 23 y/o student at Brown University— she took time off during covid, and so is still finishing her undergrad degree. Studying STS, w/ a focus on race ethnicity and biology (and loves MCM, though technically not concentrating in it). She’s a Black and Latina lesbian, who uses she/her pronouns.

Ren is a 23 y/o Chinese transmasc lesbian, who uses they/he pronouns. Ren works for a nonprofit called JDI, which serves as a coalition for MA nonprofits doing advocacy work around domestic/sexual abuse. They graduated from Brown in May 2023 and grew up in Providence as a young child. Ren and Alexis are dating

Sesame is Ren’s black tuxedo cat, who is very friendly with both other people and other animals. He’s exclusively an indoor cat, and he’s 2 years old.
