About the room

Room for rent with a good-sized closet. One month’s deposit required. Rental would be month to month. Rent includes the room (duh), wifi, heat, water, trash, recycling, electricity. There are two other roommates that you would be sharing the apt with, each with their own room of course. Room will be available April 1st. Laundromat is right across the street and is open early and stays open late. The apartment is on the second floor, one bathroom (shared), eat in kitchen, and a patio - that’s technically been made into somewhat of an indoor enclosed space, and is still considered an outdoor space. We are in the 60th St and Broadway part of West New York. Good neighborhood. Plenty of places that deliver. Short 5min walk (3 blocks) away from bus stop to NYC at 60th and Blvd East. It takes like 10 to 15mins to get to Port Authority from here – depending on time of day. The buses pretty much run like every 3 to 5mins whether you take the little minibuses or NJ transit – 2 zones for those who use NJ transit. Otherwise, there’s also buses that are even closer that goes to Journal Square and about a 7 to 10min walk for those needing the Bergenline buses. Plenty of shopping, grocery store, bodegas, gas stations within a short walking distance.

About the roomies

We are two individuals, one female, one male. LGTQ+ welcomed! Looking for someone who has a job and you are reliable with rent (and I mean on time). There are 3 cats in the house and no more additional pets are allowed by the landlord, unfortunately. We are also okay if you want to have visitors over, we’re adults. However, we ask that our house not be turned into your party spot. Smokers are welcomed but please smoke outside – allowable on the patio so long as it’s not to an excess that the landlord complains. You don’t have to be the cleanest person in the world, but we’d like someone who’s decently clean enough and respectful enough of the common areas. The mess in your room is your business – so long as it doesn’t cost us the deposit in the end, we really could care less.
