Townhouse in exciting downtown Ft Lauderdale. Street level - 2nd floor is quiet and peaceful. There is a grocery store within a block - and frequent art festivals. Plenty of people safely walking on the streets.

I’ve lived here for 9 years. Until recently had a partner. He left. The downstairs is a home office sometimes photo studio. I do not do any significant entertaining - and keep my downstairs professional, not necessarily shared space. Kitchen privileges, of course! Washer and dryer in apartment. I’d prefer a quiet self sufficient roommate who doesn’t need to be entertained, by me! LOL. I have 2 cats. I can’t have more pets. I am 70. This is an over 55 community. I do not engage with the other tenants. My life is private - and altho older, I do not like OLD PEOPLE! LOL. Most of my friends are under 55. There is street and garage parking, a small pool, a weight room, and a community center. A renters agreement is with the host property, and a separate roommate agreement.

Drugs and alcohol are not allowed! I am 18 years clean and sober. Use of substances is immediate cancellation of rent. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on premises. I provide basic cable. If you want more, that’s charged to you.
