Southeast Harrison Street

Hello! I am looking for someone to take over my share of the lease in a three-people house rental in SE Portland, starting at the end of March/beginning of April (but a bit later is fine as well). The other roommates plan to move out at the end of August but there is the option to stay on if you find new people. The room CAN BE FURNISHED at no extra cost or left empty. We are looking for someone who is respectful and easy-going, preferably a woman or non-binary. While we do not mind visitors and the occasional friends gathering, we mostly enjoy having a relaxed/quiet time at home. Rent is $848/month and utilities run around $100/month over a year on average (less in the warmer months). The house (3 bedrooms, large living room, 1 bathroom) is ideally located on SE 34th and Harrison (right between Hawthorne and Division) a short 5-min walk from all of the shops and restaurants, yet still in a quiet part of the neighborhood, with ample parking. We have a good amount of outdoor space, including a great backyard, fruit trees etc. We also have a basement with a video projector room and laundry room.

The room: Two windows with a view of the backyard and a spacious closet. I am happy to leave some of my own furniture behind if needed.

My current roommates are two lovely people: Kimberly (29, carpenter/woodworker) and Rebecca (31, art teacher). There is also Kimberly’s cat, Garfield, who loves to watch out the window and to be loved on (he is adorable). Unfortunately, we cannot have another pet in the home.
