About the room
Prime Chelsea Location! Washer and Dryer in Unit!
Nice to meet you!
My roommate of 3 years is embarking on a year of travels and I can’t bring myself to let this apartment go. The location is simply unbeatable! My goal is to find a great roommate (Preferably female from 25-35 yo, I am 27) to take their place….starting April 1. if this date doesn’t completely align with your move date, I can be flexible by a week or two.

PHARMACY: Across street
CONVENIENCE and COFFEE SHOP: Just outside
GYM: Crunch across street, Barrys 3 min, Solidcore, 8 min.
MORE PERKS: 5 blocks from the West Village!
THE APARTMENT: *FULL of natural light. Your room (10 by 10) is on the corner with light from the south and east) *UPDATED APPLIANCES: air conditioning, an in-unit washer-dryer, dishwasher, sink-sprayer, and closets in each room.
However, nothing is ~perfect~, right? As you can see, it is a small space and we will have to work together to keep it clean/clutter-free (clean/organized roomies only please :)). The apartment is also above a pub which could be a plus or minus depending your preferences. My roommate and I don’t mind it but I want to note this as I know it is not for everyone.
Your room: Corner view with natural light, 10 x10 with closet (pictured). My roommate and I comfortably fit full beds and desks, in our rooms. You can also fit a small dresser and/or under-bed storage.
Shared space: TV, couch, coffee table, small appliances & kitchenware are here. I’d welcome changing things around if you want to bring your touches to the space! Shared bathroom.
About the roomies
ABOUT ME: I am lucky to say that since I began having roommates in college, they’ve all become some of my best friends. I don’t expect us to hang out (even though that would be great! ) but I think clear/open communication is key in any living situation. I am generally out of the apartment (2 nights/ week) and travel often so you’ll occasionally have the place to yourself. I do host friends for the occasional night in but we don’t have the room to host big gatherings, nor do I want to hahaha.
I generally work from home (in my room) and fill my time by exploring NYC, reading, watching netflix series, working out, going out, and spending time with friends/family. I have a naturally laid-back personality.
My ideal roommate: Female (25-Early 30s), clean (is open to shared chores/household upkeep), open communicator, easy-going.
Extra expenses: Gas/water/heat included. We generally spend $120 each/ mo for electricity and wifi.
Lauren :)
