Hello there! I have an unfurnished room available in San Marcos, within walking distance to CSUSM and also within close proximity to shopping, restaurants, parks, etc.

This home itself is a three-story townhome with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. I (the homeowner) am living there and am only renting out one of my spare bedrooms for the sake of extra space and privacy. This is for one individual - no couples or pairs of friends please. Preferably someone who is looking for more of a comfy home atmosphere to enjoy versus just a room to rent.

This includes a dedicated bathroom, access to all common living areas, washer/dryer, and garage parking spot. A small dog (particularly a non-shedding breed) or cat may be okay.

Rent is $950 monthly and 1/2 of SDGE. All other utilities including water, internet, trash pickup are included within the rent figure. A security deposit of $800 is due upon move-in.

Hello! My name is Gene, the homeowner of this property. Career-wise, I am a professional matchmaker, pairing my clients for marriage/relationships. I work from home 100% of the time, so a roommate who works outside of the house is ideal - I am somewhat open to someone who likewise works from home though. I lean towards being an introvert but am still social, friendly, and thoughtful. Very clean, particularly when it comes to common areas. I am a powerlifter, so spends lots of time at the gym. Other hobbies include hiking, beach days, visiting family and friends, foodie adventures, any sort of performing arts, traveling, etc.
