Sadly my roommate is moving out of the city so I need someone to renew the lease with!

The basics:

• Yorkville neighborhood low 80s
• 4/1/24 12-month lease start
• $1637.50/mo
• no brokers fee
• Room fits full sized bed, dresser, small table or desk
• Laundry in basement
• 2nd floor of a 5 floor walk up
• Gas and water included
• Electric split equally through ConEd ($50-$100 each)
• Wifi split equally through Spectrum ($27.50 each)
• AC installed in room
• One cat in apt; no additional pets allowed
• Some of the living room furniture and kitchen essentials will be kept, tv and bedroom furniture is going. Lmk what furniture you plan to bring!

I grew up in SoCal and moved here about 7 months ago! I work fully remote for a marketing agency but have plans most evenings and if I stay in I’m pretty to myself. I have a very cute cat who lives in the apartment but I keep her litter box and bowls in my room and she sleeps with me at night! There are times when I go on vacation I will ask my current roommate if she’s available to look after my cat. Would love a similar situation with my next roommate! Sometimes I like to host or have people over but will always check in with my roommate first :).
