Russell's room

This is a non smoking four-bedroom home where two rooms are open for March, each about 9X12 ft. The house has wood floors, gas stove, washer and dryer and one shared bath with two large cabinets with mirrors. There is a back patio with a swimming pool and a very large backyard good for growing a garden.

We are close to downtown Davis stores, coffee houses, gas and the train station. Easy road access to Woodland and Highway 80, quick walk to bus lines.

Must be cat tolerant; we have one cat. Sorry, no additional pets. Overnight guests: generally not OK, allowed only on special occasions. Tenants share utility and internet costs.

Current tenants you would be living with: Russell, 61, retired from UC Davis; Michael, 31, works at UC Davis housing services.

We are open to all ages/genders. We respect each others’ space and sometimes meet as a group to address any issues or concerns someone may have and are looking for like-minded people. If all you are looking for is a room with no shared responsibility or minimal interaction with housemates, this probably is NOT is a good fit for you. We share light upkeep for the grounds including mowing the lawn, sweeping the patio, etc. which is about a half hour of work a week. We also share in cleaning the common areas in the house: bathroom, kitchen, living room. When house maintenance issues arise, as expected in an old house, the landlord will send a handyman to fix things promptly, if urgent.
