Marigold Place

We have a private room and private bathroom available in a spacious, recently renovated three bedroom home next to Magnolia Park, just blocks from local shops, Sonoma State University, the Green Theatre, and town center. We are a couple in our 30s looking for a roommate to move in. Rent costs for the room and private bathroom are $1,300 per month plus utilities, and we ask for a security deposit of one month’s rent. We are hoping to have someone rent for 6 months to one year, but can be flexible if we find the right fit!

About the room and house: The bedroom is a spacious 12x12 room which can accommodate up to a queen size bed. The room has a large double door closet with ample space and a large window with new blinds. Bathroom has a bath and shower, and will serve as a private bathroom for the time being given the third bedroom is uninhabited. The house is a large, clean and spacious three bedroom home with two bathrooms and a large front/backyard space with patio chairs and a small garden. There is a two car garage which is used for storage and you are welcome to use, and a 2-3 car driveway (also ample parking on the street). The house has all updated and new appliances including a laundry room with a recently purchased washer and dryer. The kitchen comes with most appliances and accessories as we have quite a bit of kitchenware, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Floors are carpet in bedrooms but the space has wood floors outside which is very easily maintained. Overall, the house is furnished tastefully.

About the area: We are located in M section, just a short walk from SSU, Starbucks, Oliver’s Market and Jaded Toad. The neighborhood itself is quiet and friendly. If you have an electric car, there is also a charging station within a 5-10 minute walk.

We are two female partners in our early 30s. Our home is a safe, clean and generally mellow space. We have occasional small gatherings, but the house is otherwise very low-key. We are looking for someone who is friendly, clean, and respectful to fill the room, although we don’t have any specific requirements. As we work from home fulltime, we are looking for someone who is able to be mindful of the noise levels during working hours. We have two (very friendly and lowkey) cats, so this should be considered if you have allergies. Ideally, we would like someone in their 20-30s who doesn’t have any animals, although we may be okay with one more small cat. We welcome all genders and sexual orientations to reach out!
