Hi! (Please note this is a private bedroom for rent in a 3 bed/3.5 home, not a 1 bedroom apartment AND that the photos are from the builder’s staged home, not the actual home, but they are identical except for the decor/furnishings.)

I have two bedrooms, both with a private, ensuite bathroom (single occupancy only, please) in the new “Ellis at Central Station” community in Oakland available for rent starting now, ending May 16th 2024.

The rent is $1650 per month for the upstairs master and $1600 for the downstairs bedroom, plus utilities.

More about the house/rental details:

• The house is a smart home located fully within a gated community. It is equipped with a security system and Ring.
• 15 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride (there’s a garage where bikes can be stored) to West Oakland BART *Clean, non-smoking household
• Quiet hours are 10 PM - 9 AM, this basically means keep the noise to conversational level during these times
• 3 stories, 1 bed on the first floor, open fully stocked kitchen/great room/dining room on the 2nd floor, 2 master bedrooms and laundry room on the 3rd floor
• It has solar panels so a) environmental perks and b) the estimated total PG&E is $20 a month (I can’t guarantee this, this is what the solar company estimated)
• Central heat/air - 3rd floor is one zone, 1st/2nd floor shares another zone
• There is bicycle parking available in the garage, but car parking is street parking only

I’m female, 40s, professional, ambivert who leans slightly towards introversion. I usually go out to meet friends vs having them over unless it’s something like baking holiday cookies where we need a home base or someone is in from out of town. I have 2, ~30 lb dogs. I’m very clean, my ideal home is one where you can walk into the kitchen and it looks like you’re the first person to cook in it that day, even if someone cooked a full course meal in it a couple hours ago.
