Hello! We’re looking for another person to share our big Montavilla home. It’s near 76th and E Burnside.

We have a LARGE bedroom for rent:

• The room is 15’ 6“ x 14’ 6“ with windows to the south, east and west. This room is half the footprint of the house!
• 5’ 5“ x 3’ 4“ closet
• private bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. PLEASE NOTE: it is up 16 stairs and there is no railing. Also, the walls have been painted lavender since this photo was taken Other house features:
• basement with storage
• washer and dryer
• large kitchen with a dishwasher
• TWO refrigerators (you get half of one all to yourself).
• nice-sized backyard with a hot tub, garden beds, and a chicken
• various common area hangout spots: covered front porch, dining area, large deck in the back where we host bbqs in the summer.

About us: We are three queer white people:

• R is a trans woman in her 30s
• M is a trans man in his 20s
• A is a genderqueer person in her 40s Sometimes we cook meals for each other, and we like to hang out in the common spaces and chat. We’re big on open communication, creating a safe space for everyone, and are devoted to making our little house ecosystem work.

We’re looking for someone who:

• is able to be part of the house dynamic rather than just wanting a place to crash.
• is mature and responsible, community-oriented, has experience living with dogs (there’s a small dog in the house)
• has successfully lived with other adults before
• can communicate their needs in a respectful way
• is willing and able to clean up after themselves.
