I live at Forest Lake at Oyster Point Apartments. It’s a quite complex set back little bit off of Jefferson. I’ve lived here for two years and haven’t had any issues with safety or noise. It’s a second floor apartment with private stairs. Rent would be approx $775 for your half. (I haven’t gotten the new lease yet so this could be less.) This does include Water/Sewer as those are paid through management, they have been averaging around $50-$60 each a month. Internet has been $47 each and electric averages about $60-$80 each depending on time of year. The electric could vary as well, since my current roommate works from home.

It’s a two bed, two bath apartment. Your room has an en-suite and walk-in closet. The floor plan of the apartment allows for me to create a privacy screen between my room and the second bathroom creating my own en-suite of sorts. Because of this we split rent evenly. There is a Washer&Dryer in unit.

You will only be responsible for furnishing your room. I have everything else. Bedroom fits a queen size bed. Could fit a king but you wouldn’t have much room left.

I attached photos of the room that were taken by management, as well as the floor plan. The photos are a little dated, the wooden closet insert is not there anymore and the medicine cabinet is gone as well. Otherwise everything else is the same! The photos also make the room seem smaller than it is, with the way they staged it. I also attached a photo of the living room as it looks with all our stuff in it. My roommate wasn’t comfortable with have her personal things photographed for this so I used managements photos.

I’m 30 and a quiet person, not at all anti-social, but I do work a lot and as a result I tend to spend a lot of time in my room when I am home. I have a full-time job with the city as well as a part-time job pet sitting. I’m usually gone at least once a month to pet sit for a few days.

I don’t have any pets myself but you’re welcome to if you’d like! The pet fee for the apartment is $35 a month with a $300 deposit.

I’m not a messy person but I’m also not super clean either. I pick up after myself but I’ll leave dishes in the sink for a bit. Nothing sits long and the garbage is always taken out.

I enjoy reading, crafts, puzzles, board games. When I have the time I like going to breweries, festivals, and craft fairs.
