Ship Avenue

(Room has been painted, waiting for current roomate to move to update pics) The room is part of a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment close to the center of Medford. It is a 15 unit, 3 floor building. Ship Ave is a quiet dead-end street with a walking loop to Meadow Glen Mall (20 min walk) and Assembly Row (10 min drive). The apartment is within walking distance to the 96, 95, 94, 101, and 134 MBTA buses. It has an in-unit washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher. There is a small balcony to enjoy the coming spring weather, a covered carport for residents (available), and a guest parking lot. The living room and kitchen are furnished and fully stocked but open to additions. The apartment has electric heat and central a/c. Although there are pets in the building, and I love animals, I’m not looking for someone with a pet at this time. I do have a fish and a gecko.

I’m originally from Winchester, Massachusetts, but I’ve been living in Medford for the past three years. My friends would describe me as lively, organized, and laid back. I like spending time inside reading or outside hiking. My favorite place to go is the Middlesex Fells Reservation. I work as a Special Ed Teaching Assistant and at an After School Program so I’m out of the house from 6am to 7pm Monday - Friday during the school year. During the week I’m usually in bed by 9 and up by 6. On the weekends I’m usually asleep by 11 and up around 9. I’m a pretty social person, but I also need my alone time. I enjoy a quiet house and prefer to enjoy social time elsewhere. I’m looking for someone who shares a similar lifestyle. I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. Some quirks and relevant info: I’m a Cancer/Leo cusp. I like crystals and tarot cards. I’m fascinated by History. You might often find me binge-watching a period piece with a fantastical twist. I’m sometimes overwhelmed by loud noises so if you’re someone who blasts music, we might not be the best fit. With that said, I’m not going to get upset at you for making popcorn at night or watching your favorite TV show at a normal volume. I’m not a smoker and I don’t want to live with one.
