Hello, my name is Kelli. I am renting a 3 bedroom house with a two-car garage and a basement if storage is needed. Rent is low because I am using the third bedroom as an office (and see additional costs below). It’s an old build, 1965, so it’s kind of…quirky and ugly? 😄 But a ton of space and a big backyard. I am leasing under a company called Invitation Homes. I chose them because my research led me to believe they are far less predatory than most leasing companies in the area, and so far I seem to have been correct.

Additional Costs Because I am leasing, the company has monthly fees related to lawn care, utility management, etc. that would equal about $100 per person, per month. Happy to delineate specifically what those are. In addition, we do cover all utilities ourselves - gas, electric, water, trash, sewage. The only one I have kind of a sense of at this point is the electric, which I estimate to be about $130 per month. Just got here so haven’t discovered the rest yet.

I’m a young 40 years old :) , non-smoker, work from home 9am-5pm. I have a very sweet black lab mix named Gert. Introvert who will likely just give you a polite smile in the hallway and ignore you much of the time. I haven’t done any of the verifications yet (just posting this 2/5) but if we begin talking and want to proceed further, I am the only person with my name on the planet so you can Google me.
