About the room
How would you like to live in a part of NYC’s history? You can move into this beautiful historic brownstone which was built in 1890 on Alexander Hamilton’s former estate. Each of the available bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and feature original detail and non-working fireplaces. Each room has a personal vanity area with working sink, lots of closet and storage space, and a large mirror. Large windows let in lots of light. You will share a modern hall bathroom on the 2nd floor. You will also share common areas on the first floor which include a large kitchen with modern appliances, and a well appointed living room with a baby grand piano. The current occupants are professional students (medical student who is working at a hospital and a Columbia U grad student) on the 3rd floor, and a professional who works a lot of hours and lives on the 4th floor. There is a cat in the house but he is very quiet and stays to himself. There are also laundry facilities in the house. The ideal roommate will be someone who is either a student or professional and gets along well with other people. You don’t have to be best friends but being cordial, respectful, and neat is what we’re looking for. If you would like more information contact us.
