Anna's room

Sweet, older home with lots of recent improvements and ample sunlight. Lots of plants in the main living space, I like to keep a tidy home. This neighborhood is a dream come true in terms of community and friendly neighbors. I’m a queer femme going to graduate school for counseling and working part time as a life coach and handyperson. I have two young boys who join me two nights a week and Saturday daytime. The neighbor kids often end up at our house Saturdays, and impromptu lunch and dinner parties with the neighbors occur frequently. There is a lot of love and sweetness in this house. Tenant would need to be okay having children around part-time.

That said, the private room is set up for maximum privacy and quiet. The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and arranged in two wings. Your room and the main bedroom are in the sleeping wing with the laundry room and side entrance. There is an additional door between the sleeping wing and the living wing. When this door is shut, your private room stays very quiet. The living wing contains the kitchen, living space, third bathroom, kids bedroom, and my office. When my kids are away, I am either at my computer in my office, away at a job, or spending time with my partners (I often spend nights away).

I’m currently in graduate school for mental health counseling and otherwise work as a life coach, novice interior designer and handyperson. I’m a bit witchy, but also trauma-informed, sex-positive, great listener, high on empathy, and low on bull-shit-taking. Fan of the oxford comma and direct communication. I love quiet time, plants, cats, my partners, and being in nature, particularly on my mountain bike. I am a welcoming and accommodating person, just ask all the neighborhood kids who show up on Saturdays.
