F Street Northeast

Hello! My room will be becoming available at the end of January. This was my first home in DC and I have really enjoyed living here. The house is very inviting and the location is unbeatable!

• Location: Stanton Park, Capitol Hill (6th and F St NE); two blocks from H St
• Public Transportation: 15 min to Union Station, 15 min to Eastern Market, close to multiple bus routes (X2, X1, D9)
• Groceries: 10 min walk to Whole Foods, CVS; 15 min to Giant, AllCare Urgent Care
• Neighborhood: Stanton Park is primarily residential, so it’s quiet and feels very safe. You’ll often see families with young children and people walking their dogs. I’ve (23F) walked home from Union Station late at night multiple times and have never felt unsafe.
• Room details: Located at the back of the house, with private entrance/access to patio (shared with neighbors), lot of windows, spacious closet (second closet right outside the room for add. storage) Dimensions are ~12’ x 10’. Rent is $1091.
• Roommates: Maggie (she/her) and Caris (they/them) are both in their 20s and wonderful people! They are looking for a female-identifying person in their twenties who is queer/trans friendly.
• House: Great kitchen with lots of cabinet space, brick accent wall, large living room area. Laundry is in-unit, located upstairs. House has three units, ours is the one downstairs and the other two are upstairs (separate entrance). Property is managed by Yarmouth. No pets allowed :/
• Lease: You’ll be signing a 12-month lease beginning on 2/1/24

Maggie: (she/her) in her mid-20’s, super friendly, made me feel very welcome when I first moved to DC, communicative, clean Caris: (they/them) in their early 20s, also very friendly and warm, excellent chef (they might cook for you if you ask nicely :)
