Marie's room

This is a great area of Sandy Springs! Right down the road from shopping places like Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Kroger… The complex provides amenities such as a fitness center, pool, mini soccer field, tennis courts, and a playground for kids. Also, a sidewalk was just built that lets you walk around the property! You will have your own private room, and own bathroom. Everything is fully furnished, except for the private bedroom/bathroom. These apartments are probably 15 minutes away from the Chattahoochee Nature Center… And an awesome view from the porch lets you look out on the river!

This IS apartment living, so do keep in mind that you will hear occasional noise from those living around you; however, quiet hours are from 10 PM-8 AM, and people generally keep to themselves. Initially, I moved here to be closer to GSU Downtown for school since my home and family are in North Georgia. But this final semester, I secured my practicum hours much closer to home, and only have in-person class once every other week. Because I do not spend much time here anymore, I thought it would be worth trying to find someone in need of either a temporary stay (until July), or figure something out with my roommate if renewing the lease is something you both are interested in!

My roommate is named Tara, and we are both followers of Jesus Christ! We love and breath Jesus, and prefer to have another fellow believer who is female and shares the same values when it comes to a roommate situation. We do not tolerate drugs or partying, and also prefer zero tobacco/vaping in and around the home.

Tara is amazing! Very friendly and keeps things neat, picked up, and vacuums often. Also, she is a great communicator when it comes to bills and other roomie things, or if you just want to talk about God. She has two lovely cats who are great company, very chill, and fun to play with!

As far as length of stay, the lease runs out in July; so we are looking for someone to take over my part of the lease until then. If things are great and you’d like to move forward to renew the lease at that time, it is up to you guys as roommates. However, there is a possibility that Tara may be downsizing to a one-bedroom apartment once the lease is finished. So we ask that you keep this in mind during your consideration!

In conclusion, we love our arrangement as roommates, and take it very seriously that someone new may possibly be entering the space. I would not be leaving unless I felt God was leading me to do so to focus on school closer to home. With this said, we encourage you to pray and see if the Lord is drawing you to this apartment in Sandy Springs! God bless!
