About the room

1000~ sq ft house. 3 bedroom 2 bath, 2 car open carport, tile through most of the house but carpet in the bedrooms. Near the 101 and Grand, variety of stores and fast food places in walking/biking distance. We’re close to Sun City and Glendale. Its a cheap rental so it’s not luxury by any means but its quaint. Trash and Recycling are picked up on Fridays. Dishwasher, Gas stove + Heater, working AC, lots of original interior from 1970s. Shared bathroom has a combined shower/bath, toilet, sink with storage, and medicine cabinet. Laundry hook ups (our washing machine recently broke down so we’re looking to replace it, dryer works and there are laundromats nearby in the meantime) Bedroom is private with lockable door, spacious closet, one window facing enclosed backyard, working fan/light, carpet, but unfurnished. If need be we have an air mattress that can be borrowed. There is a cat on the lease, we’re allowed one other pet (cat or dog under 30 pounds) but they must get along with ours and there is a pet deposit.

About the roomies

We are two 27 year old queer neurodivergent artists who need a roommate to occupy the third bedroom. We’re getting the living room set up to be a sort of a shared craft/art space though we’re still in the process of getting furniture for it so its mostly storage right now. We would prefer fellow queer artists or gamers, and/or other neurodivergents, but not a requirement. We’re quite friendly and understanding, household chores are often shared, eventually under a system but currently just whomever has the energy/time.
