About the room
Available March 1, 2024. Some things about the room/apartment: the room is charming (unfurnished and medium-sized). It has a window seat (that faces Haight Street), a small closet, and wood floors. The apartment is long. Electric wall heaters punctuate every room (and sometimes keep the electricity bill high). The bathrooms are shared (there’re 1.5 of them, thank god). There’s a living room, a kitchen, and a backyard with a large redwood tree. Laundry and bicycle parking are located in the building.
About the roomies
We hate the word “roomies.” That said, here are some things about us: Jessica uses other people’s music reviews to write music reviews about other people, teaches toddlers Monday through Friday 8 to 5, and hangs out in the experimental music scene. She leans vegetarian, struggles to keep her room clean, and brings home treats (e.g. cakes, cookies, pies, etc) almost every night. She’s into Moufette (our cat), couch surfing, and guys. She’s Filipina.
Stephen writes things (e.g. grant proposals and grocery lists), spends most of his time with bookish people (makers and readers), and hangs out with his therapist every Friday afternoon. He leans vegetarian, keeps his room clean (and the rest of the apartment neat), and is looking for a new favorite sweater. He’s into a world in which nobody has to worry about money, walking, and smart people. He’s queer.
