Patty's room

I live in, and own, a manufactured 1,100 square foot, two bedroom, two bath home in a 55+ community, so roommate must be at least 50 years of age. I am looking to rent out the second bedroom and bath. The home is set up with bedrooms and baths on opposite sides of the home with living areas in the middle, so perfect for roommate set up. All utilities (water, trash, sewer, gas, electric, Wi-Fi and internet) included in room rent. Use of the living areas of living room, kitchen and dining areas and washer/dryer is included. I also have a covered carport driveway with room for my car plus one more vehicle, depending on size. I have a small yard and garden area which any roommate can also enjoy.

The community also has a clubhouse on site with indoor heated pool and hot tub, library, billiard room, full gym, dry sauna, BBQ area, fenced in dog park, putting green, tv lounge, and more. The Activity Committee offers weekly donuts and coffee in clubhouse, bingo and bunco games twice monthly, birthday cake party monthly, bible study every Wednesday, arts & crafts weekly, and much more. Use of the clubhouse and facilities are all included in your room rent. You will have to fill out an application at the management office and be approved prior to move in.

I am a 59 year old woman, retired. I served in the United States Air Force, and then went on to a career as mechanical engineer for 25 years. I am naturally a happy, easy to get along with person. No stress, no drama, no negativity. I love to garden, cook, bake, travel, socialize, and generally just enjoy all that life has to offer. I am an organized, tidy, clean individual who likes a happy, organized, clean home. Not obsessive about it, but expect anyone of mature age to also be clean and to be respectful of the home and others. Basically…..clean up after yourself and respect your roommate (me) 😊
