Nina's room

Hello! My roommate is moving out, and I’m looking for someone to finish out the last 4 months of the lease (February 1 - May 31), and to potentially re-sign the lease for June 1st! I will also consider shorter stays within that time period!

The room: It’s the biggest bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment with two big east-facing windows and a full wall of sliding door closets. It faces the back of the building, so doesn’t directly border any streets! Also, it is on the opposite side of the apartment from my bedroom, so no shared walls at all.

The apartment: I’m the only other tenant, so the 3rd bedroom is kind of a multipurpose room! I’ve used it for everything from working on my performances and writing to doing in home workouts, and it’s so nice to have the extra space. The living room and kitchen are a big open concept space fully furnished with dishwasher, tables, furniture, and a TV. There is 1 bathroom with a full-sized tub. The building only has one other unit downstairs, and then a currently vacant business space on the ground floor.

We’re close to the 2, 5, B, and Q trains, and just a 10 minute walk from the Lincoln Road entrance to Prospect Park. There are awesome bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, but it also has a great community feeling!

Note: only willing to consider another dog if it’s the right fit! Walter is very dog-friendly, but he’s a rescue and is still working hard on learning how to be a polite dog with boundaries!

I’m a 35 year old woman originally from NJ, but I’ve been living in Brooklyn for the last 12 years and I love it! I love to cook, spend a lot of time in Prospect Park with my dog, Walter, and would like to live with someone who communicates openly, honestly, and might like to hang out every now and then. I work in a restaurant and I’m also working on putting up a cabaret hopefully sometime this year, so I’m usually home in the daytime and working at night.
