The house is typically pretty quiet, except for the occasional sound of a bouncy ball getting flung across the living room floor, a podcast getting played while someone cooks, or guitar strumming. The downstairs is open, and the house feels spacious and roomy, even though it’s a rowhome. There are red and blue colored lights and interesting things up on the walls. There is a nice common living room and hanging out space as well as a co-working space. The house is on a quiet city block close to a large park that makes nature always feel close by.

The room: cozy middle room in Germantown, Philadelphia. Most of the room is about 10 1/2 by 9 feet wide. Utilities included in price above. The room is in a rowhome in a quiet, friendly, tree-lined block in East Germantown. Walking distance from the Wissahickon Park and accessible via the 23 bus on Germantown ave to go downtown.

The whole house is about 1500 square feet, and there is a washer and dryer in the basement. There is a co-working space in the front room of the house for people to work. Looking for someone who can commit to living here for a year.

Two friendly cats, a graphic designer and artist, and myself–a sociology PhD candidate live here. We have lots of hobbies and interests in this house–music, disc golf, walks, art, D&D, read and write, animals. Hablamos espanol e portugues.
