About the room

Hey everyone,

My name is Yanery and I’m looking to rent the extra rooms in my apartment.

So I have two rooms available, but for only 1 person (I’ll explain).

Bedroom #1 & #2: $1,200 monthly plus utilities

Room #2 has a door I’d have to walk through in order to get to my bedroom (Railroad style apartment). This room can only be used as a storage, office space, closet, etc.. but unfortunately not a bedroom since i personally wouldn’t feel comfortable walking through someone’s room to get into my bedroom.

Room #1 is in the hallway on the other side of the apartment. There is no room before that bedroom, and I took a picture of the door for you can see it’s in the hallway.

Details on the apartment and room:

  • Located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. 11215
  • Train Station: 4Ave and 9st, F,G,R trains and 7th ave and 9st, F,G,R, trains
  • The bedroom is cozy, not the biggest space.
  • The room is not furnished. The furniture in the room is from my previous roommate. The room does have a 42-46“ LG flat screen TV mounted on the wall with a Amazon Firestick
  • I am asking for first months rent and deposit.
  • Building is a walk up.
 What I’m looking for:
  • Someone who is responsible, and shows good judgement.
  • I keep a clean home and I would like to rent the rooms to someone who is proactive with cleaning.
  • Must be dog friendly. I have a 4 year old cocker spaniel whose super friendly!
  • Initial rental term is set for one year, but I am open to discussing the potential for extending the month-to-month agreement beyond that period if it suits both parties
  • Move in February 15th, 2024 (Open to the 1st of February)

About the roomies

Hey, I am thirty years old. I work a remote job, and I maintain a clean apartment. I am charismatic but typically stick to myself when it comes to coexisting with a renter.
