5th Street

This is a private unfurnished room with a large closet that includes a deep shelf above coat hanging space (about 5ft x 2.5 ft., and whole closet is 6.5 ft. tall). This room is in the lower level of an unconnected split-level apartment. The floors are solid hardwood and there are five electrical outlets spaced helpfully along the room’s walls. This room is available for one tenant, female preferred, and no smoking allowed.

The other tenant does have a larger, very friendly dog, but no other pets are permitted at this apartment. If you are interested in this room, you must have experience with dogs and be willing to accept a level of responsibility for the dog in the owner’s absence.

The apartment itself has in-unit laundry, lovely front and back yards, and full kitchen amenities. The single bathroom is shared with the other tenant but contains a full bath with plenty of room for everyone’s things. Shared spaces include a large living room, dining/study area, and back storage area. Trash, recycling, and water are covered by the monthly rent. Energy (gas and electric) and internet are paid for separately by the tenants. The room comes with one off-street parking spot right in front of the apartment. The current lease runs through the end of May, with the potential to be renewed at the end.

The apartment is close to many of Golden’s best hiking and biking trails, as well as historic Main Street Golden and all of its attractions. The Colorado School of Mines is a five-minute drive or quick walk/bike away from the home, and Western Denver is only 20 minutes away.
