Charming room to rent in a well-kept mid-century family home set on a private sandy Old Florida road with private beach access. Serene, park-like setting on near an acre. 3 miles / 10 mins from Humiston Park.

The furnished room offers lots of windows with garden and patio views. A full-size bed is complemented with plentiful dresser/bureau space as well as a clothes rack.

There is a private separate bathroom. However, the bathroom must also act as the house-guest bathroom, though is rarely used as such.

The kitchen will be shared, and you will have your own cupboard and cabinet space. Dishes, cookware and silverware are provided.

Utilities included. Driveway parking. No washer or dry use available at this time. Recommendations available for professional laundry service.

House has sanitizing UV light in HVAC and whole-house activated charcoal filtration for water supply.

We’re 2 family members that live in the house. The home has been in the family for a long time and we work hard to keep it in shape. We’re quiet, clean, and work from home. Non-smokers, non-drinkers, no drugs and no pets.

We enjoy nature and have lots of wildlife about in the yard. Work and the property tend to keep us busy, and while we’re keep-to-ourselves types, we’re friendly and easy to get along with.

We would need someone who can respect the property and cleanliness.

While you’ll have kitchen privileges, we cannot accept any seafood preparation, grease cooking or deep-frying in the kitchen.
