Available Apartment 5 minutes away from Allan Hancock College!
This is a private room in a 2 bed room, 1 bathroom apartment. The complex has a gym, pool, and basket ball court. The complex is also gated, and you will be provided a clicker to open the gate when it closes at 10pm Mon-Sat, and all day Sundays. The unit includes a reserved parking spot, in-unit laundry, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. The bathroom is shared, but there is lots of cupboard space.
The current roommate has a cat, so other pets are not prefered- but can be discussed. I will be taking much of the living room furniture when I move out, so there will not be a couch or TV in the living room, or a table and chair in the dining room. Feel free to bring any furniture you may have, and you can discuss purchasing furniture to share with the other tennant.
There is a shared hallway closet, and a closet in the common space as well for storage. This apartment has lots and lots of great storage opportunities!
The bed room is approximately 10’x10’ with a window and closet. There are 2 outlets in the bedroom as well. The room can probably fit a queen or full bed, but I have been using a twin. THIS IS AN UNFURNISHED BEDROOM. The pictures attached to this post show the furniture that I will be taking with me when I move out.
There is also a balcony and outdoor storage.
Bills are not included in the rent, but average about $130 per month. Bills include water, hot water, garbage, wifi, and PG&E.
The apartment is leased under the current tenant’s mother as a guaranteer, so your half of the bill and rent will be sent to her.
There is some construction behind the apartment, but it is not too loud. The complex is very safe, and the leasing office is very kind and easy to communicate with if you have any issues.
Month-month lease, 3 month minimum please!
The person you will be living with is a 20 year old female with a orange 7 month cat named Junipurr. She is respectful and cleans up after herself. She is easy to communicate with and fun to have conversations with. She is flexible with your wants, so if you want to stay in your room and chill or chat with her, she is open to both.
She pays $75 more a month for the larger room, $20 a month for the covered parking space, and $50 a month for the pet fee for her cat. She is a great roommate and you will be happy living with her!
She is also a full-time student at PCPA/Allan Hancock College and may have some late nights coming home. You will have to be okay with this part of her schedule. She is also gone most of the day on weekdays, so you may have the apartment to your self if you stay home often.
