2-bedroom/2-bath 1-story duplex style apartment in central Cottonwood with one bedroom available for rent beginning today (2/17/24). Home is to be shared by one roommate and myself, and all common areas are nicely furnished. You would have your own private bathroom, and of course full use of the shared/common areas (kitchen has gas stove). There’s a garage with a washer and dryer and some storage space available.

Complex is located in a quiet community of well-maintained 1-story duplex apartments, close to everything… within walking distance to Safeway/Fry’s, yoga studio, Starbucks, Home Depot, many restaurants, and shopping, etc. Public transportation nearby.

Rent is $750/month, and includes all utilities, WiFi, etc.

Refundable security deposit of $600.

Open to renting the room month-to-month (with a 30 day notice).

Room can easily be fully furnished, completely unfurnished, or anything in between (depending on your needs).

Hi! I’m a retired nutrition/healthcare professional, who recently moved into a 2-bedroom/2-bath apartment in Cottonwood to be closer to family. After settling in here a bit, I am starting to get serious about finding the right roommate. Is that you?

I’m friendly, respectful, relatively quiet, well-educated, and easy-going. Interested in healthy living and longevity, whole food plant-based diet, sustainability, hiking/walking, biking, exploring Northern AZ and beyond.

I retired for the 2nd time in 2021. Now, casually watching for part-time work in or near Cottonwood. (Not essential, but the right PT job could be nice.) I attended Culinary Institute of America in upstate New York back a few decades. AND, I’m a great cook - in case we decide to have a meal together now and then!

As for my roommate, I prefer someone over 40, preferably female. However, age and gender are not deal breakers. For me, it’s more about who you are as a person that matters, and that we’re compatible as roommates. Looking for someone who’s mature, respectful, friendly, responsible, clean, easy-going, and considerate (and I’ll be the same). An interest in health/wellness/spirituality = a plus. A good sense of humor is a double plus!! ;)
