Brian's room

We are looking that special someone to join our beautiful craftsman home in NE Portland just off of Williams! This is big house in a great neighborhood within a few blocks from the grocery store, restaurants, bars, bus lines, etc… Big kitchen, living room, dining room, basement, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, backyard with a garden and plum, hazelnut, black walnut and fig trees! We have a well organized community space.

The room available has a large walk in closet and some built in cabinetry (11x14ft+ the 7x5.5ft closet). We are looking to fill the room by Feb 1st. Room is $735/month+utilities which on average comes out to around $850. (We split internet too!) We are looking for someone to sign onto our year lease.

I’m Brian (33, He/him)- I work as an architect by day, and in my spare time enjoy cooking, camping, reading, and art. I appreciate good jokes and good communication, and would love to compare notes on road trip destinations in the northwest!

Also in the house: Elaine (29, They/Them)- Enjoys being creative doing video production, graphic design and visual arts. They also enjoy making potions, cooking and growing a garden.
Erik (31, He/Him)- is a artsy/ business guy and geek. He runs a video company, loves video games and DND as well as hiking and climbing. He enjoys swapping stories about travel and playing board games together.

Daniel(34, He/Him)- is a musician and is passionate about storytelling, puppetry, dance and poetry. He is very active and loves to be outside hiking, camping, playing with sticks and growing food. He is the stage and site manager of a classical music non-profit.

Oscar the dog- lives here half time and is the best boy in the whole wide world. Sorry we can’t take more mammalian pets!

We all love to cook and enjoy occasionally having dinners together and playing games! We are looking for someone that enjoys living with people, is caring, respectful, self-aware, communicates openly and clearly, has strong social values, keeps the place tidy and wants to be part of a healthy home.
