I have a room available in a beautiful historic home a 3 blocks from Tacoma General and 6 blocks from 6th Ave commercial district. I am looking for a roommate to share the house with me and my 4-year-old son who is here 50% of the time.

House is 2300 sq ft, 3 bed, 3 bath, fenced backyard, living room and 2nd couches & tv. The home is nicely furnished; the kitchen is updated and has the accessories needed to cook (high quality knives, food processor, instapot, gas range, grill/smoker, etc). Basement is a 1970s bar with couches, 120“ projector, 2nd full sized fridge, & beer on tap (if you supply the keg). I am happy to share the entirety of the home with a roommate.

The room is fairly small, but includes large private balcony, and private newly updated full bath. Room is/will be fully furnished. It currently has a couch that I can switch out for nice stand up desk. If you don’t have a bed I will buy a new one.

Looking for someone who sharing living space with a kid part-time. Great situation for a traveling nurse.

I am a 43 year old professional who works primarily from home. I am active, social, and easy to get along with. I love skiing, climbing, kayaking, etc. I am responsible, tidy, emotionally healthy, and an excellent communicator as my career relies on my ability to communicate with diverse groups of people. My son is with me 2 or 3 week nights; on those days he is around from 6:30am-8am & 5pm-8pm bedtime. Every other weekend he is here, but we are often out on adventures. The room is on the same floor as my son’s room, so when he is sleeping the roommate would need to be considerate, i.e. no loud music or loud conversations in the room, but there are a couple other living spaces where it is fine to play music and live a normal life when he is sleeping.
As this is a shared home, I want to meet an interested person to make sure we are a good fit.
