My son is looking for a roommate for a nice little place in Sylvan Park. We are posting on several sites and I am managing this one for simplicity. There is a small yard, small storage space (Locked outdoor shed), back porch, front porch, shared den, shared kitchen/eating area, shared bathroom, private bedroom. Bedroom is currently furnished with a single bed and a oversized chair – room has built-in storage/closet.

There is a washer and dryer and all of the kitchen equipment is already present, you will probably need your own Tupperware and some other things that don’t share very well but you don’t need to bring a whole kitchen with you.

Good situation for a student, he works fairly regular hours then several hours a day biking or in the gym so the place will be quiet/solo much of the time.

This is not a sublet, you will be added to the lease. I will do a basic background check (just what is doable via regular Internet/google) but the homeowner/landlord will do a background check through their third-party in order to gain approval to add you to the lease. Neither my son nor I have any control over what the leasing office says.

My son is the primary renter/resident. 23 years old, avid weightlifter & Road/mountain biker. Looking for a respectful roommate to share the rent, his work/social schedule is pretty full so looking for someone not necessarily looking to be besties but rather respectful housemates. He has been in other shared houses so very comfortable/good at respecting privacy as well as shared spaces (den/kitchen/bathroom/porches). Looking for someone who can similarly stay clean and be respectfully tidy, particularly in the shared areas. No smokers. We both love dogs but the landlord does not authorize them so no cats or dogs in the house.
