We are in search of a female roommate for our beautifully maintained, minimal and serene townhouse in the Fan – this is a 3 bedroom, 2 (full) bath home in a very walkable location with central air/heating, an in-unit washer/dryer, large and bright living spaces to share, high ceilings, a sunny front porch and back patio and kitchen with granite countertops + modern appliances, including dishwasher and gas stove and ample storage space. The quiet street has lots of street parking (permit from City Hall).

The living room + dining room are empty now since past roommates have moved out and am planning on getting some eclectic vintage pieces (but there is plenty of room for your furniture if you have some but not necessary!)

Rent 725 month + utilities (gas/water/sewer; electricity; internet comes to about $100)

Applicant process: Interview with housemates + homeowner Thorough background check + credit check Must be willing to sign a one year lease (no exceptions, sorry).

Dealbreakers: Not meeting above criteria; 420 lifestyle; other animals (only 1 cat allowed);no students please.

You’d be living with a 48 year old vintage fashion stylist/shop manager (who practices/values meditation and self care, interior design, loves to read, write and ride her bicycle) and a 34 year old VCU professor who mainly lives in DC and works/stays in Richmond 2-3 days a week. There’s a sweet and friendly cat as well so we hope you love cats as much as we do!
