Medium sized room available in unique, clean, quiet 2 bdrm 1.5 bath southwest Petaluma home with views. Share with one other. Please come with your bedroom furniture, as the rest of the house is fully furnished and kitchen fully stocked. There are nooks and crannies around for extra storage (but not for large items or extra furniture unfortunately). The house has a kinda shy adult cat who ventures inside and out.

This is an ideal home for a student and/or clean and quiet independent person who works/is at school away from the house; isn’t into partying or loud music or the T.V. during daylight hours (unless it is on in your private room of course). The backyard is multi-leveled and large and great for hanging out.

I’ve mostly had long term housemates (4 + years) that have moved out to move in with their significant others! I’m looking for the right vibe, so please tell me about yourself, why you are moving, how you support yourself and anything else you want to share (and a phone number). If all you do is provide me with a name and phone number, I will not respond :-).

About me: I work as an event planner from my home office (tucked away in the common living area) and also have a cottage industry license for a home based cookie business. My baking needs (i.e. when I kind of take over the kitchen!) is during daylight hours 1-3 days/week, but there is always some space for your quick breakfast or lunch or coffee needs. The kitchen (and bedroom areas) have doors so will not disturb the rest of the home while being used. That all being said, an ideal roommate is someone who does light cooking but isn’t planning on spending a lot of time in the kitchen. I hope you like cookies because there is always surplus! I leave town occasionally and may ask you to feed el gato while I’m gone!
