Hello, I am looking to rent out one unfurnished room in my 3 bed 2.5 bath house which is available now. The room shares one bathroom with the other room which will be occupied by a male, and there is a half bath downstairs also. I’ve got a fairly new washer, dryer and carpet installed less than 2 years ago. The house is a little over 10 years old and in a nice neighborhood. There is a parking space in the driveway and there is plenty of parking on the street.

I am looking for someone responsible who can pay on time and can keep common areas neat. We can do a month-to-month arrangement or a certain amount of months if you’d prefer, with $400 deposit + first month’s rent required. First month will be prorated if you move in on any other day besides the 1st. I will require you to get a pretty standard credit/background check ($42.99 non-refundable). I am trying to rent each room to a single person, as I would prefer not to have too many people in the house.

-The $875 includes all utilities, including Wifi, electricity, etc. Wifi speed is 1 gigabit/s.

-Heating/AC unit located downstairs, personal heating unit in each room.

-Each room also comes with its own lock and key for privacy.

-About 15-20 minutes to JBLM, ~15-20 minutes to State Route 512/I-5 with easy access to Tacoma and Puyallup.

-I have a TV in the living room that anyone is welcome to use, and I have a few game systems.

-Would prefer no pets, but I could make an exception for a cat or another smaller animal. There are already two cats in the house.

-Smoking is ok outdoors only.

I’m a 28 year old guy, I generally keep to myself, I usually play video games, watch TV/movies, or study when I can. I am a USMC veteran and I currently work on JBLM as a contractor. I rarely have guests over, maybe a couple times a year, aside from my boyfriend who spends the night sometimes.
