My apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with 2 separate vanities, 1 kitchen, 1 dining room, and 1 living room with lofted ceilings and an attached balcony. If you have a cat, you would have to pay an additional $300 security deposit. Conveniently, there is also a pet hospital and Petco right next to the apartment so a lot of tenants do have indoor cats. The apartment complex includes a separate laundry room, pool, meeting/study room, free parking, picnic area, and maintenance - as long as you don’t literally burn the building down, they will fix pretty much anything. We are located right next to the J and G line with around a 8min bike ride from UC Davis. Rent includes recycling/garbage pickup and water. As for other utilities, we have to pay for WiFi ($12.50/month) and electricity ourselves.

All three of us are UC Davis students in our 3rd/2nd year. I am majoring in Microbiology and thinking about minoring in Bioinformatics (although statistics terrifies me :v). Despite being a bit of a science nerd, I am also a huge fan of the arts. Therefore, my major hobbies include drawing, reading, cooking/baking, and painting. While I am normally pretty quiet (extroversions never came easy to me lol), I am always free to talk and midnight conversations are the best! I like to keep my space clean but am not super picky about arrangements and enjoy cooler temperatures. As for my other two roommates, they are both very chill and love reading - we all share a communal bookshelf. One of them is a lot more extroverted than me and will often leave the apartment to hang out with friends, while the other is more quiet but not afraid to hang out with us. Overall, our apartment is very relaxed but not deathly quiet. Most of the other tenants like to keep to themselves but are nice enough to personally return packages if they are sent to the wrong door. The manager is incredibly kind and is onsite Mon-Fri from 12-5 to answer any questions. Other employees include two maintenance guys who are very personable and punctual. One even lives on site so that repairs can be taken care of immediately - excluding at night, we’ve never waited for more than an hour.
