About the room

This listing is for the master bedroom and my portion of the lease (I am moving out, but my roommate is staying).

Located in Lake City, this apartment is in a locked building that offers several amenities including: Private Gym, BBQ, Dog Wash Station, Pool Table, Shuffle Board, Parking Garage, Package Receiving, Elevator, etc. It is a 5min drive from the building to the I-5 entrances and about a 15min drive to the 405 entrances. It is very close to a lot of great businesses and restaurants. Closest grocery stores: Grocery Outlet (2min drive), Fred Meyer (5min drive), QFC (5min drive), Safeway (7min drive), etc. It is also right next to several bus stops!

The whole apartment is 1,100 sq ft. It has in unit laundry in the main bathroom, as well as dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator, full galley kitchen, small balcony, and a fireplace. The Master bedroom is fairly spacious, has two large closets and a half bath. Once I am moved out, the apartment will be largely unfurnished. My roommate does have a TV, dining table, blender, Keurig, and a few other kitchen supplies already in place. She also uses the main bathroom as mostly her own, since the master comes with a private bathroom.

It is paid parking, but there are a few options. Street parking is free. Parking in the outdoor lot is $75/month and in the garage is $125/month. It is dependent upon availability and the outdoor spots usually have a waiting list. I already have a really nice outdoor parking spot close to the front entrance of the building. When you take over my lease, you can choose to keep this or drop it.

The building does allow pets, at max 2 per apartment and pet rent is $20/pet/month. You will also be taking over my half of the security deposit, which is $250. In total the rent for the space is $2165. My portion of the rent, due to having the master bedroom, is $1182.5. Most utilities are charged separately by the building. The building does not include power or internet in their billing.

The current lease ends May 1st, but can be extended. However, my roommate is most likely going to be moving out after the lease ends.

Hi there! I am looking for someone to take over the last few months of my portion of the lease as I am moving in with my boyfriend. My roommate will be staying until the lease is up at the beginning of May and then she is likely moving out.
