This updated 3 bed 2 bath modern mission-style house is in the highly desirable Midtown neighborhood on a quiet street with a cafe at the end. This property is a half mile walk to the beach, mile walk to downtown, short walks to Main Street and Thompson coffee shops and boutiques, and easy drive to anywhere in Ventura.

The yard is the standout here, boasting avocado, orange, lemon, and peach trees amidst the retreat-like garden space, a back deck, and large pergola-covered patio on side, as well as a front garden. There’s optimal space for grilling out, having a campfire, or just being one with nature.

I have two rooms available sharing a full bathroom with nice shower/tub combo, toilet, and vanity cabinet. Common area includes large sofa sectional and TV, fireplace, dining table, and open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and dishwasher. Breville Barista Pro espresso machine is a highlight as well. Washer/Dryer is included and in the garage. Each roomie is responsible for 1/4 of the monthly utilities while I cover the remaining half.

One room is furnished for an added $300 and includes closet, storage bed, natural mattress, plush runner rug, side table, small writing desk, and large picture window to the backyard garden.

The other room is unfurnished and ready for you to make your own. This room also includes a closet as well as a sliding door to the backyard.

I live in the remaining bedroom with en-suite bathroom with my small senior dog Patrick (he’s chill) and utilize the small backhouse as a hangout, music jam room, and office. I am an animator who runs my own business helping market sustainable and purpose-driven brands and nonprofits, working out of a nearby coworking space, and love music, board games, hiking, camping, volunteering, golf, watersports (need to learn to surf still), video games, movies, and house projects.

I’m looking for roomies who play nice with others and are interested in contributing to sense of community within the home. You should he respectful and clean, but also down to have fun, hangout, play board games, or grab a drink once in a while. Young professionals, entrepreneurs, activists, etc. would be great fits, but I also believe age is just a number so open to all adults. LGBTQIA+ friendly.
