Looking for a housemate in a lovely two bedroom house in Mt Washington starting January 1st (or any time in December).

About the Room: Bright and cozy room has wood floors, built-in storage closet with full length mirror and a private entrance. Room does not come furnished (furniture in the images was just for staging), so you can decorate as you like!

About the Property: The house has a beautiful front yard with lemon and guava trees and views of Elysian park and the Griffith Observatory. Shared kitchen, living room and bathroom. Central heating and AC, new in-unit washer/dryer, detached garage for storage and plenty of street parking on a quiet street.

About the Neighborhood: Perfect balance between a serene escape from the bustling city while still being right in the middle of everything! Quiet tree lined streets with beautiful city views are great for long walks or bike rides. Walking distance to great city parks, restaurants, bars - and a 10 minute drive to Highland Park, Echo Park/Silverlake, Glendale and Pasadena.

Rental Requirements: Flexible rental/lease options (month-to-month, 6/12mo etc), first and last deposit due when moving in along with basic credit check. Utilities and wifi are separate and would be split between us.

I’m a 36 year old designer (he/him) and you’d be sharing the house with me and my very sweet pit bull. I work down the street, and tend to be out and about during the day so the place is yours if you’re looking for somewhere to work from home. Looking for an easy going housemate who is comfortable living with a dog and knows how to live communally (i.e. you’re clean/tidy, and you know how to balance social/alone time). PETS POLICY Open to dogs (landlord requires a fee), just need to introduce them to my pit bull and make sure its a good fit - she loves humans but is picky with other dogs.
