About the room
Looking for: Male, clean (like 8.5/10 minimum), quiet and easy going that would fit in with the household. We are working professionals looking for someone with a similar profile that would like to share a home. We’re all friends and would like to live with someone like minded. Preferably someone interested in staying at least a year because we intend on renewing the lease (currently lasts 18 months). Move in as soon as December 21st 2023. Must have a strong, steady income.
About the property: We just signed the lease to this furnished 4 bedroom, 4 full bath townhouse in Irvine, CA. This room (10.5ft^2) is downstairs with its own large bathroom (separate from the room) and includes an average size closet. We pretty much have everything furnished; however, you will be expected to pitch in any shared cost (i.e. swifter wipes, bath tissues, paper towels, water filter, etc) with us. Central A/C. Community has pool, tennis courts, and other amenities free and available. 2 car garage and tons of street (neighborhood) parking (first come first serve). Will have full access to common space (i.e. kitchen and living room)
Costs: rent is $1,300 a month for room and personal bath. Utilities will be split equally (~$50-$75). We like to travel weeks or months at a time so if you’re gone 3+ weeks, will not be expected to pitch in for all utilities. Renter’s insurance highly recommended. You will be expected to pitch in any shared cost (i.e. swifter wipes, bath tissues, paper towels, water filter, trash bags, etc)
You will be asked for the first month, key deposit, security deposit (same as rent), credit check, income (paystub), 3 month’s bank statement, driver’s license, and background check by landlord.
About the roomies
We are three working professionals (28 - 32 years old) who have known and lived together between 3-5 years. Very chill and easy going; however, our careers are our first priority. Two of us work from home 5 days a week and the other is hybrid (1-2 days a week). We also have 2 cats already so we aren’t able to accommodate another pet per landlord restrictions. We respect each other’s space, help each other when needed and enjoy each other’s company in a drama free environment
