Delmont Avenue

On January 1st (but available as soon as December 21st), we will have the front half of a 2,200 square ft., three bedroom house in the lower Oakland hills available. We are just minutes away from Redwood Regional Park with all of its hiking/biking trails, Montclair Village, and easy access to Interstate 580 and Route 13. ABOUT THE PLACE: Our home comes furnished with all the amenities: gas stove/oven, all appliances, cable/internet, patio w/bbq and fire pit, washer/dryer, and dishwasher (we also have two full sized refrigerators so you will have your own). The space available is the full front half of the house with your own private entrance and porch, it includes the master bedroom which is a suite, a full bathroom with bathtub + half bathroom for guests + large living room furnished with a big couch, coffee table and a 42“ TV + full dining room with a 6 seats dining table and a private fridge. There’s also a nook perfect for an office. In total, the house is about 2,200 square ft but the space available for rent is approximately 1,000 square ft. The bedroom has two built-in closets and a full bathroom. The house is long and organized where the front and back are connected by the kitchen and a long hallway, which adds a lot of privacy/separation between front and back (the back house has its own living room, bathroom, dining area, etc. The common areas are the kitchen, patio/yard, and laundry room. The house also comes with a parking space in the driveway and there is plenty of additional parking available on the street in front of the house. You can use the furniture we have at the living and dining room or we can take it out, it’s up to you. Rent is $1,900 per month, plus 1/2 of the monthly utilities (PG&E, Comcast, and Water/Sewer—half of the bills are usually around $150-$200/month depending on the time of year). A $1,900 deposit is due on move in.

We are a married couple in our late 30’s/early 40’s with a small super cute and friendly 9 year old dog. One of us works in tech in San Francisco (splitting time between working from home and the office) and the other works in childcare and teaching in Oakland. We are clean, courteous, and respectful of each other’s schedules. We love good food, good music and overall enjoy having a comfortable place to call home. We are mostly quiet on our side since our jobs are very demanding and one of us is also a student in childhood education. We rarely have guests and when we do they stay either on our side or the patio.
