Rent is payable weeekly at $275 per week, and includes air conditioning, TV, cable, internet, wi-fi, and utilities. Your 11’ x 12’ bedroom (approx. 130 sq. ft.) is fully furnished including bed and bath linens, mini-fridge, and microwave oven. Your bathroom is yours and yours alone. Use of in-unit laundry and modern kitchen for simple meal prep is OK. All you need is your clothes, your toothbrush, and your food. There are eight pools on the property (some with hot tubs), two tennis courts, and two pickleball courts.

Located in a desirable south-end location just north of East Palm Canyon Dr near Cerritos Dr and Mesquite Ave, you will be walking distance to three shopping centers: Smoke Tree Commons and Smoke Tree Village on East Palm Canyon Dr and Sunrise Place on Sunrise Way and Ramon Rd. The development is located on three main city bike paths. Bring your bike and park it safely inside. Auto parking is on the street.

Maximum occupancy: one person. Minimum term: 30 days per HOA rules. No overnight guests, please. I’m looking for someone who is employed full-time outside the home. If you are relatively neat, quiet, and low-profile we’ll get along great. Rental history, employment history, background check, references, security deposit, and proof of income (at least $3,973/month or $47,680/year) required. No pets, no smoking, no vaping, no drugs, no regrets.

Hey, I’m Jeff, read this if you want to know more about me as a potential roommate:

I’m an educator working in the airline industry where I have over 35 years experience in various jobs at six different airlines in various cities, such as Tokyo, Denver, Miami, New York, and Phoenix. I’m originally from Los Angeles but most recently returned to California from Dallas. I work from home full time in my home office and my company is located in Dallas, so I keep pretty early hours due to the time zone difference. I’m looking forward to retirement in about four more years, but who’s counting?

I’m quiet and keep pretty much to myself, but I am always available if you need anything and am always happy to help when I can. I enjoy travel, biking, hiking, going to the gym, and just going out to experience all Palm Springs has to offer. I don’t smoke or vape anything, don’t use drugs, and drink socially on occasion. I’m interested in midcentury modern architecture, movies, and politics. I’m very liberal and would probably feel most comfortable sharing my living space with someone who is not too conservative, although religion and politics won’t likely come up as topics of conversation. I’m responsible and reliable but I try to keep a good sense of humor about things and avoid unnecessary drama in my life.

I’m relatively neat, but not a fanatic about it, so if you like to be in a tidy space, are good at cleaning up after yourself, and keep a low profile you will fit in here. I’m respectful of my roommates space and privacy, and don’t expect a lot of social interaction, but of course I’m open to the normal polite chats when our paths cross as we are coming and going or whenever there is anything one of us wants to talk about. I would say my relationships with roommates has been more like you would have with a next-door neighbor.
