3rd Street Northeast

I’m moving away for a job offer on very short notice, which is why I need someone to takeover my lease for the room, the lease ends on March 1st, but can be renewed for another year. The townhouse is situated in Downtown DC, right next to Union Station. afaik it is the most affordable room in the area. Room is 14x14 ft square, top floor of the townhouse, bathroom is right outside the door, shared with just 1 room across yours (currently unoccupied). According to the lease, it’s a 1000 for rent, and 200 for all utilities, plus monthly cleaning service, no other charges.

The room comes with wall full of cabinets, and otherwise originally comes unfurnished, but I can leave behind my twin size mattress, and possibly a table if you want them.

Currently there are 3 other roommates who will share the same common space, a 4th one lives in the basement without need to use the common space. Current makeup of roommates are three men, and one woman.
