You must be able to get along with all kinds of people and respectful of others. Its located in the Palmdale area… No wild and crazy people wanted.. As you can see, its not a typical house, its the size of 5 normal houses. Sometimes we Karaoke and campfire in the back yard, or take trips to the beach or Vegas. Some game nights. Keeping the place clean is a priority. No drugs. From the bus stop in front of the house you can take bus rides all over. Furnished or unfurnished rooms. There are common sense house rules to follow. We want this to be a home with NO drama. This is a unique landmark house in Sun village. Right now there are rooms that are available, im still working on making other rooms better, furniture or no furniture??? Some rooms have their own bathroom with a Tub attached and private. There are separate areas and joint areas, separate dining areas. like the movie theater room is for having movies on movie night, BIG 3D TV with some 3D movies, the other area is like a dance hall or a meeting room. Sometimes we have Veterans meetings. Some people you might not even see for a week or longer depending on their schedule and if they want to be private and keep to themselves which is no problem. We will have things like movie night, game night, campfire karaoke in the backyard, we plan trips because we have a motorhome that can take 8 or 9 people to the beach, camping (we have free pass to all national parks), the mall, Vegas, a boat hopefully for the summer boating trips Catalina, lake, buggy and a quad for riding in the desert. So there are a lot of advantages to having a big house on a big land and also no problem for those that just work and school we know they are busy and that’s fine keeping to themselves. We are set up to have things like birthday parties in the dancehall and even outside on all the gigantic concrete areas and the backyard Park. Also being clean is a priority. I’ve seen houses where people live like pigs we don’t want that here look around your own house where you live now if you live by yourself you can live how you want, but here you have to clean up after yourself, with a shared bathroom you don’t leave a single mess in the sink or the bathtub. In one of the TV areas, dont leave messes anywhere no one is here to clean up after you, so if you don’t have the eyes to see the mess you create then we don’t want those type of people here. I’ve been told that pigs like to live with pigs and clean and neat people like to live with clean and neat people that makes a lot of sense. We are not clean freaks but normal living is fine. When someone brings their things to move in, they are not just brought into the house, they are cleaned outside of the house. Boxes appliances (bed bugs) things like that. We had someone move in their appliance, it had roaches it took 6 weeks to get rid of the roaches with too much time and expense, we are not having roaches in this house. There are rules about people coming and visiting the people that live here. We don’t want someone to be crowding the people that live here, of course there could be people over meetings or other types of things but it cannot get out of hand where it crowds the people that live here. We want this to be like everybody’s home with respect for others. Even though this is a safe area we’ve lived here 13 years there are cameras and security systems all over the place and more security rules, so that this is a very safe comfortable place to live with no worries. So think about if you own your own house what would be your GROUND RULES?? For security, cleanliness, visiting, parties, all that all the other things that come with a nice home and we are open to suggestions and ideas. We don’t want someone moving in and then later having to say, oh I didn’t know about that, so we try to talk about everything possible so everyone knows all things about living in a great place. It will take the people living here to be the best place to live in the whole Antelope Valley. What are your thoughts or ideas did I miss anything. 5 people now in a 11+ bedroom house 7,500SF. Everyone is easy to get along with. We all work or school. Sometimes we campfire and karaoke in the back yard, or game night or movie theater night. Or sometimes tooo busy doin our thing.
